"WHAT A YEAR."

OVER £1 MILLION RAISED

This was my third year as Chairman where during 2023 we hosted 4 fundraising events that allowed us to make donations of £100,000 to RUH X and Dorothy House.

This year our donations to RUH X have enabled them to reach their target on the Robotics Campaign and bring robotic surgery to Bath. The improved view and dexterity which comes with robotics means that the surgeons have been able to perform minimally invasive surgery minimising the need for open surgery.   

I would like to send my sincere thanks to everyone who has supported us over the years. Without their tremendous support, the charity couldn’t function, so many many thanks once again.

We have plans for 5 events in 2024, which can be seen on the "Events for 2024"  page,  including the return of the Comedy Night. My fellow Trustees and I look forward to seeing you at a Helen Straker Charity event later this year.
